Hasan Faydasıçok Education Foundation
Inspired by the principle of philanthropy embraced and practised throughout the life of our Honorary Chairman, Hasan Faydasıçok, founder of Hasçelik, the Hasan Faydasıçok Education Foundation was established in 2016 to give our work in education an institutional identity and to keep our founder’s name alive.
Our Foundation aims to help children, young people and adults in education—primarily those who have lost one or both parents—grow into modern, inquisitive individuals capable of rational and independent thought, receive a good education and acquire a profession.
It develops projects that provide the support required for people who cannot study because of financial hardship to continue their education.
Our Social Responsibility Policy
Our greatest responsibility is not merely to live, but to add value to life.
Wherever there is a need, we propose benefit—not simply aid.
As the Faydasıçok Foundation, we attach importance to following needs related to society, education and the environment and to providing solutions. Guided by our awareness of social responsibility, we take volunteering beyond a simple act of charity.
We aim to put our corporate values of trust and a focus on happiness into practice through comprehensive, organised and sustainable projects. We develop incentive programmes to build volunteering awareness among our employees and wholeheartedly support voluntary activities even during working hours.
We are also very pleased to contribute to the spread of volunteering awareness. We have a broad volunteer community that extends from our employees’ families to our business partners and customers and includes everyone who wishes to create benefit.
With the organisational support of the Faydasıçok Foundation, our employee volunteers help make other lives happier through individual or organised social-responsibility initiatives.
As the Faydasıçok Foundation, we set out to add joy to the lives of others and continue this journey with conviction.
We work for equal opportunity in education…
Faydasıçok Foundation Volunteers regard taking responsibility wherever they can provide benefit in education—one of society’s foremost priorities—as their duty.
Since our activities began, we have supported students and educational institutions at every level, from primary schools to universities, and worked to meet many essential needs such as toys, clothing and educational materials. Through initiatives we launch ourselves and cooperation with relevant civil society organisations, we strive to help education be provided under equal conditions throughout Türkiye.
We act with the environmental awareness of a new world…
The factors threatening our changing world are themselves constantly changing. Following the threats discussed in the final quarter of the last century, challenges such as global warming, drought, deforestation and shortages of clean water have now come to the fore.
Faydasıçok Foundation volunteers begin in their own lives to reduce the adverse environmental effects of our time and to protect and improve the environment. As environmentally responsible individuals, all volunteers take personal initiative to leave children the clean environment to which they are entitled.
Beyond their immediate surroundings, Faydasıçok Foundation Volunteers develop and/or support effective and transformative projects together with relevant civil society organisations.
We know that new and changing environmental needs require awareness to be developed, expanded and turned into action by countries, civil society organisations, companies and individuals.
We pursue sustainable benefit…
Faydasıçok Foundation Volunteers wholeheartedly embrace their responsibility in matters that directly concern society, including education, health, women’s issues, people with disabilities, and artistic and cultural development.
